Ray Barnes, Planning and Zoning Director for the City, is responsible for:
- Planning and Zoning
- Economic Development
- Subdivision review and compliance
- Issuance of Compliance certificates
- Floodplain manager
- Right of Way acquisitions
- Addressing Building Permits - first point of contact
- The management and supervision Planning Department
- The development for long and short range plans
- Evaluating land use proposals for conformity and insures compliance with all laws
- Documentation of subdivisions
Meetings
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers.
